Architecture, construction and property development organisation John Smart Architects is seeking high calibre qualified Part III architects to work in London, with positions available immediately.

We are currently experiencing an exciting increase in our workloads and require individuals who demonstrate interest in taking on design challenges, and will enjoy having key responsibility within our new project workstream. We are currently seeking very talented members to facilitate this new growth and offer careers with competitive remuneration packages along with other benefits.

Our unique organisation also offers the opportunity to work with our in house craft based construction team. Our projects are wide varying; crafted one-off houses, large scale innovative beacon UK housing schemes, regeneration schemes, social enterprise projects, competitions and concept projects. We are evolving and fast accelerating and offer a creative studio environment where design and ideas are valued as our prime and ethical currency.

Skills and attributes:

  • Part III (newly qualified up to five plus years post qualification experience) in UK and/or residential projects
  • highest academic grades and qualifications
  • exceptional communication skills in design, written, graphic and spoken English
  • confident and able to take on high levels of responsibility
  • Adobe Suite proficient with MicroStation 2D preferable

We have been RIBA award winners for best new London housing and featured as one of Wallpaper magazine’s global top 50 architects.
