8 Holland Street is looking for an operations manager to join its team in London or Bath, UK.
8 Holland Street is a gallery, design store and a growing interior design studio. Specialising in European art and design from 1900, alongside objects and textiles from across the globe. We work across residential and commercial projects in the UK: within city, coastal and country locations. The design studio is based out of our London Gallery with a second gallery in Bath and more on the horizon.
We are looking for a bright, personable, dynamic individual who is passionate about everything they do! Your top skill will be organisation! You will be managing a small team which is growing quickly as our business develops. The team is committed to achieving our goals and they bring a wealth of skills and experience to the process. You will already be an established people manager and keen to encourage all members of our team to develop their own skills. We are passionate about nurturing talent and internal promotion whenever possible.
Assisting the senior management team in developing working practices that suit our high paced environment will be key. You will be experienced in implementing, managing and monitoring working flow practices and processes.
Other areas where experience and understanding will be required are: health and safety law, contracts administration, facilities management, sales reporting, operational and logistical support.
Experience in luxury brands and art and design would be advantageous. You will be sales focussed and able to assist in developing sales strategies.
