Business development coordinator

Studio PDP is hiring a part-time business development coordinator to join its team in London.
Studio PDP is looking for a proactive business development coordinator with a passion for design and the built environment. Reporting directly to the business development lead for the studio, this role will help facilitate and drive success in our future pipeline of work.
The successful candidate will have an outward-looking focus, with an ability to empower and motivate others to grow their business development (BD) activities and effectiveness.
Key responsibilities:
- working closely with the business development sector leads to coordinating and driving BD activity
- collaborating/liaison with the head of marketing and head of communications to ensure there is a cohesive strategy across these functions
- keeping up to date with knowledge across the business and industry – helping join the dots internally to uncover new opportunities and leads
- ensuring that relevant press features are added to Tiny+, our CRM system, and flagged to BD sector groups
- helping to develop a business development approach that aligns with our clients’ objectives
- keeping Tiny+, our CRM database, up to date and clean, tracking intel and ensuring that key contact information is accurate
- collate information for and preparation of the quarterly BD report
- research into target clients
- attend monthly partners BD meeting
- attend cross-sector meetings, coordinating the agenda notes and minutes where relevant
- becoming a subject matter expert on Studio PDPs projects, history, and marketplace position
Skills, knowledge and expertise:
- excellent research skills
- excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to manage up
- interest and understanding of the architecture and design industry
- able to scan industry press to pull out topics of relevance
- genuine passion for key concerns within the industry such as sustainability
- excellent organisation and project management skills
- good at orchestrating and motivating others to make things happen
- experience using CRM software
- creative thinking and problem-solving
- enthusiasm, resilience, attention to detail and dependability
- ability to work on your own as well as be a part of a big team
