Mangera Yvars Architects is hiring a studio coordinator to join its team in London.

Mangera Yvars Architects is an international award-winning architectural design practice providing architecture, interior, landscape and master-planning services for clients worldwide. Our work ranges from architecture and urban design through to social and cultural analysis. Operating through offices in London and Barcelona, we work in all sectors including cultural, education, hospitality, commercial, residential, sports and leisure.
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations of the studio. You will be part of the wider team of support staff which includes all aspects of marketing, communications, finance and IT as well as operations. The aim of the role is to create and maintain a studio environment that promotes MYAA’s culture, strengths and working efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- reception duties, email correspondence, filing, company renewals, membership subscriptions, ordering office supplies/equipment, liaising with office suppliers and consultants and management of studio calendar
- HR Administration; staff development, appraisal arrangements, office events, visa sponsorship, maintaining office policies, ISO records, recruitment and contracts, inductions for new staff and managing all HR records
- finance management and administration; reconciling accounts, invoice payments, maintaining client payments and expense records, employee expenses, managing all stages of sales invoicing, payroll, pensions and liaison with the company accountants regarding VAT
- communications/marketing; updating the website and social media channels, awards submissions, press and media liaison
- oversee and manage office and company properties
Skills and experience:
- experience in an administration within an architectural/interior design practice
- knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Smartsheet
- knowledge of/experience in HR, ISO, Health and Safety and IT systems
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, friendly, approachable and ability to work as part of a team
Minimum requirements:
- two years’ experience in an office coordinator role
- undergraduate degree
- native English speaker and the right to work in the UK
