Rupert McKelvie founded Out of the Valley in 2016. The studio is based in Devon, UK and predominantly works on local projects as well as those situated further afield across the UK.

Out of the Valley’s portfolio consists of bespoke projects including furniture and residential briefs, as well as its signature 'nomad cabins' – a range of customisable, prefabricated micro-homes for adaptable use.
