Speirs + Major is a lighting design studio founded by British architects Jonathan Speirs and Mark Major in 1992. With offices in London and Edinburgh, the practice designs lighting for the architecture and urban design sectors. Its projects include illumination projects for major airports and art institutions internationally. The firm employs over 30 people with backgrounds in architecture, art, interior design, lighting and graphic design.

The firm is behind the lighting design for the Coal Drops Yard shopping district (pictured above) in King’s Cross, London.
