1050 Architects is hiring a Part 2/3 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
1050 Architects, a dynamic, small-sized practice based in central London, is seeking a talented Part 2 qualified or equivalent architectural assistant and a newly qualified architect.
We have a diverse range of projects and strive to make the office a fun and enjoyable place to be.
Role responsibilities:
- assisting the directors on a variety of projects, giving you a broad range of experience
- progressing to take on more responsibilities within a creative and technically focused practice
You will gain experience across all RIBA work stages, including:
- concept design
- planning applications
- detailed design and tender
- construction including site visits and inspections
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to run projects and gain valuable experience towards Part 3 qualification, if applicable.
Ideal candidate profile:
- a minimum of three years’ post-Part 2 UK experience in practice
- a strong design portfolio with excellent technical detailing skills
- strong hand-drawing and sketching abilities
- a proactive team player, able to work independently and manage tight deadlines
- excellent written and spoken English
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and SketchUp
- strong visualisation and rendering skills
Requirements:
- eligibility to work in the UK
- flexibility to work remotely, but preference for candidates able to work from our London office most days
