Executive assistant

We are looking for an executive assistant to support our CEO in our Accra office in Ghana, therefore the role is fully based in our Accra office. The executive assistant will be responsible for coordinating and providing high-level administrative support to the CEO. The executive assistant needs to be resourceful, innovative and proactive and will function as an integral and indispensable part of the office.


  • act as the point of contact among clients, executives, employees, and other external partners
  • draft, review and send communications on behalf of the company executive
  • schedule appointments, effectively maintain and update the executive’s daily calendar and provide daily briefings
  • organize and prepare for meetings, including attending to logistics and preparing documents for meetings
  • taking dictation and minutes of meetings, writing them up subsequently and distributing as necessary
  • coordinate travel arrangements, prepare detailed itineraries, plan logistics, and submit/claim expenses
  • screen all incoming phone calls, enquiries, visitors and correspondence, and route accordingly
  • screen, prioritise and sometimes respond to emails on the CEO’s behalf
  • maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information both internally and externally
  • manage complex office administrative work requiring the use of independent judgment and initiative
  • maintaining databases

  • bachelor’s degree
  • three to five years’ experience in administrative support functions or justification for consideration if this isn’t the case
  • strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with a strong attention to detail
  • proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat and social media web platforms
  • very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
