Founder and product designer Afroditi Krassa brought a radically new approach to hospitality design that led to the creation of some of London’s most iconic projects. From itsu to Dishoom, the holistic and conceptually driven approach resulted in brands that defined their category.

Two decades, 150 projects and 40 design awards later, the studio has spread across three continents working with governments, masterplanners, developers, hotel groups, renowned chefs and mixologists to reimagine the way we consume hospitality experiences.

Senior hospitality interior designer

London, United Kingdom, full time, hybrid role with up to one day per week WFH.

Start: immediate

Our 10 people strong team is growing with new projects in three different continents from London and Chicago to the Indian Ocean. Our client list includes ultra-luxury hotel brands Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood, One&Only and Corinthia, cinemas and clubs, celebrity Chefs and Mixologists and the some of the world’s best restaurant groups. We are looking for an experienced F&B/Hospitality Interior Designer to join our community and work on these flagship hospitality and wellness projects.

You are/have:

  • passionate and creative
  • experience in hospitality and F&B design with minimum four years
  • experience in facing clients, suppliers, presenting, meeting and taking charge
  • experience in running a project from initial concept to completion, resource and team management
  • solid technical knowledge, incl. architectural detail, FF&E specifications including bespoke furniture & lighting. technical requirements
  • ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • good technical understanding and problem-solving ability
  • all round experience and understanding of the design process
  • works well in a collaborative team environment
  • takes initiative and is comfortable stepping up
  • organised, systematic and thorough
  • knowledge of hospitality industry including operational needs, branding and positioning, trends in markets, key players and brands
  • understanding of luxury brands
  • up for a new challenge, keen to learn and grow

The role:

  • track and coach junior team members to ensure they work towards project goals and deliverables. Hold weekly project team meetings to check status, quality and progress of deliverables, address questions, concerns and determine challenges
  • review and redline check sets for all production documentation including construction documentation and FF&E specifications to ensure accuracy and quality of work
  • communicate directly with agents, subcontractors and other offices and manage and monitor production and on-site installation
