Allen Architects is seeking a qualified Part 3 architect to join its studio in London.
Allen Architects is a vibrant, design-led architect practice based in south east London, working in the city and surrounding areas across both residential and commercial sectors. We value quality of design over luxury materials, and look to create environmentally friendly, economical and efficient buildings.
We are currently working on a number of exciting bespoke residential projects and are seeking an experienced design-driven, skilled architect with a substantial technical focus to join our team.
The successful candidate will be intrinsic part of the team, running jobs with the support of the Director. We are looking for someone with excellent technical designs skills and on-site experience and knowledge of contract administrator would be advantageous but not essential.
Skill set:
- demonstrate proven record of running UK residential projects from design to delivery for at least six months
- on-site experience
- able to develop detailed technical proposals with a high level of design
- share our values of creating environmentally friendly, economical and efficient spaces
- highly organised and able to multitask multiple projects at any one time
- excellent communication skills and experience of working with clients, contractors and other suppliers
- experience of UK statutory regulations
- good attention to detail across all areas of design
- proficiency in Autocad, sketchUp Pro, Adobe CS NBS Chorus
We would welcome submissions from applicants with strong hand-drawing/illustration/sketching skills.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate they have the right to work in the UK.
Salary is between £40K – £45K depending on experience.
