Marketing communications assistant
at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris

Allford Hall Monaghan Morris is looking for a marketing communications assistant to join its communications team in London.

Allford Hall Monaghan Morris is one of the UK’s leading architecture practices, with highly acclaimed projects in all sectors but notably in commercial, residential and education. Winner of the Stirling Prize in 2015, the practice now has more than 500 people in the UK and US and a growing international profile. The communications team plays a vital part in the practice’s continued success and development, and works with directors, senior staff and project teams as well as the key practice support functions.

The team works across three key areas; marketing communications, new business development, and events and outreach, all overseen by the head of communications. The new role will focus on supporting marketing communications, assisting primarily with awards entries and PR, and is an opportunity for someone embarking on a marketing or communications path in architecture or design to gain experience and skills in a varied, supportive and creative environment.

With an interest in architecture or a related field, great organisation skills, excellent written English, knowledge of InDesign, and an uncompromising eye for detail in text and graphic layout, the successful candidate will be keen to develop their skills and gain experience as part of a busy but supportive team. We are looking for a proactive person who will be comfortable dealing with people at all levels of the practice as well as with clients, media and other external people and organisations. Some experience in a similar role will be advantageous.

Allford Hall Monaghan Morris has been an employee-owned company since 2017, and the practice offers an exceptional office environment and culture with annual study trips and conferences, community and cultural initiatives and subsidised weekly activities, as well as competitive salaries and benefits and opportunities for training and development.
