Production assistant/coordinator

Amode is looking for a production coordinator to join its London team.

Amode is a high-end contemporary designer furniture company with showroom and offices based in west London. We supply highly bespoke furniture to discerning retail clients and top UK interior designers and architects.

The production coordinator will manage the client journey from the point the client has placed their order: you will manage sending purchase orders for made-to-order furniture, checking and confirming orders with production, tracking dates throughout the production cycle, coordinating deliveries to the client and resolving any after-sales issues by providing exceptional customer care to our clients.

The majority of our furniture and fabrics are produced in Italy and you will be responsible for managing our Italian manufacturers to ensure timely delivery, exceptional quality control and swift resolution of any issues.

You will also be the main point of contact with the delivery/warehouse team and be responsible for coordinating internal company deliveries, such as for showroom renovations or exhibitions. You will also work on ad hoc projects with the directors related to new and existing product collections.

We are looking for someone who can work well autonomously and on their own initiative. Attention to detail is highly important for this role, as you will be looking after the production of highly technical made-to-order furniture. You will need excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), great problem solving skills, the ability to resolve any issues or complaints with a calm, professional demeanour and excellent computer and administration skills.

Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 depending on experience

Hours: Mon – Fri 9.30am – 5.30pm
