Showroom sales executive
at Another Country
Another Country is seeking a showroom sales executive to join its team in London.
Founded in 2010, Another Country designs and makes contemporary wood furniture and home accessories for both the retail and trade sectors.
The role of the showroom sales executive is to drive sales and exceed sales targets while maintaining an impeccable client experience for both our retail and wholesale customers.
For this position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong work ethic, be reliable and competent, organised and efficient and have good attention to detail. As this is a customer-facing role, it’s important they have a friendly, approachable demeanour and hold a natural passion for furniture and interiors.
Responsibilities
Working closely with our sales manager, the candidate will be in charge of all retail sales and be the point of contact for our wholesale partners.
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- responding to inbound sales enquiries via phone, email and our web chat service
- completing in-store transactions and processing made-to-order purchases while liaising between the customer and our team throughout the production of each order
- managing our wholesale accounts, maintaining good relationships with our wholesale partners and supporting the sales manager in our wholesale growth strategy
- managing the day-to-day running of the showroom, ensuring the stationary and samples are well-stocked and the selling tools and software are in good working order
- maintaining the visual appearance of the showroom, as well as creating merchandise plans and strategies to increase footfall and sales opportunities
- organising and executing showroom events and collaborations in line with key industry dates
- coordinating product loans for press shoots
- maintaining a close eye on our website and e-commerce platform for any errors or issues and making suggestions for improvements
- monitoring, generating and analysing e-commerce sales reports
- supporting social and digital marketing activities
- supporting the Sales Manager on ad-hoc sales duties and covering their annual leave when required
Requirements:
- at least two years of retail or sales experience
- proven track record of increasing sales in a similar upscale showroom
- intuitive understanding of and familiarity with social media and digital marketing is a plus
- live within a reasonable commuting distance of our showroom in Marylebone, London
- ability and willingness to work Saturdays
- fluent English speaking

Salary: dependent on experience.
