The Architects Registration Board is seeking a digital communications officer to join its team in London.
Main job title: digital communications officer
Salary: £30,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Location: Marylebone, London W1W – currently working remotely during Covid-19 restrictions
If you are an excellent communicator with experience in developing digital content and an interest in how architecture shapes our lives, then we want to hear from you.
Architects play a crucial role in our society. They design the buildings and environments where we live and work. Established in 1997, the Architects Registration Board is the professional regulator of architects. We maintain a Register to protect the public, so that anyone using an architect’s services, or a building designed by an architect, can be reassured that the design has been developed by an appropriate expert.
Our new digital communications officer will develop, monitor and improve digital products including our website, stakeholder emails and our social media presence. You will be familiar with data and monitoring tools (such as Google Analytics) and will use them to develop an understanding of our audiences and tailor our digital content to them. You will be an excellent copywriter, able to develop written content for a range of products such as the website, reports and stakeholder emails.
Reporting to the director of policy and communications, you will join a close-knit team that is helping to improve how ARB engages with the architectural profession and a wide range of audiences. You will be confident collaborating with different teams and working with senior leaders. You will be a creative thinker who can translate ideas into content and who understands the importance of good design in communications materials, particularly for an architectural audience.
In return, we offer 27 days’ holiday per year, generous pension arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package. This post is based in our central London office, however ARB supports flexible working and will be reviewing our office working arrangements, post Covid-19 in due course.
The closing date for completed applications is 11:00am Wednesday 17 March 2021, and no applications will be accepted once this deadline has expired.
Interviews will take place during week commencing 29 March 2021. Depending on government restrictions, this will either be at ARB’s offices in central London or remotely, via video link.
