PLANM Global is seeking an architectural designer, Part 2 architectural assistant or studio manager to join its team in London.
PLANM Global is a leader in eco-friendly and recyclable off-site construction (OSC) and architecture, specializing in a diverse range of projects across public schools, residential buildings, resorts, and hospitals in South Korea and the UK. With a strong commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, we are at the forefront of the industry with our innovative OSC smart manufacturing technology.
Our extensive facilities and office in Incheon and Eumseong, Chungbuk, South Korea, include a 160,000-square-metre modular production facility. This state-of-the-art ‘one-stop solution system’ has the capacity to produce over 10,000 modules annually, enabling us to deliver the most sustainable building solutions, including 150 school modules nationwide each year.
In 2023, we underscored our commitment to community and sustainability by donating £6 million to Kyunggi University and providing £3 million in free rental space to the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education for Seoul Daebang Elementary School. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in London as an architectural designer, Part 2 architectural assistant, or studio manager. Responsibilities:
- architectural design (OSC, DfMA) for UK/Australia/Europe
- a desire to work within a small practice environment
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work within a team
- experience working with and coordinating external consultants
- minimum RIBA Part 2 or equivalent qualifications
- RIBA Stages 1-4 design experience
- excellent design and CAD skills
- CAD experience with working in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp
- proficiency in BIM is preferred
