ASPA KST is seeking a junior architect/Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

Our work extends to all scales, from urban planning to architecture, to interior design, with expertise in large-scale retail design and office design.

The team comprises registered architects, engineers and designers, together with admin staff with experience in big international offices around the world. The aim of the studio is to deliver contemporary, high quality, environmentally responsible projects while ensuring that the user experience is at the centre or focus.

We are looking for a passionate and creative junior architect or Part 2 architectural assistant to join our team.

Position overview

As a junior architect/Part 2 architectural assistant, you will work closely with our senior architects and design team to support various projects from concept to construction. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, contribute and grow within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • assist in the design and development of architectural projects, including residential, commercial, hospitals and public spaces
  • collaborate with team members to create detailed drawings, models and presentations
  • conduct research on materials, building codes and sustainability practices to inform design decisions
  • participate in site visits and client meetings, documenting observations and feedback
  • contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table
  • stay updated on architectural trends, technologies and best practices

Qualifications:

  • degree in architecture
  • proficiency in design software (Rhino, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • strong visualisation skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
  • excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • previous internship or work experience in architecture is a plus
