London, UK
Bid coordinator
at ASPECT Studios
ASPECT Studios is hiring a bid coordinator to join its team in London.
The practice
ASPECT Studios is a purpose-orientated, design-led landscape architecture and urban design practice. Operating across Australia, Asia, the Middle East and the UK, our studios believe in the power of design to positively change people’s lives, the environment and the planet. In 2022 and 2023 we launched our Dubai and London studios. Together with the HCMC and Shanghai studios and our collaborators in Australia, ASPECT’s project pipeline in the northern hemisphere is more exciting than ever.
The role
To help us leverage the exciting opportunities across the UK, MENA and South-East Asian regions, we are seeking expressions of interest for the role of bid coordinator in London. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading the preparation and submission of compelling bids and proposals to secure exciting projects that align with our vision of transformative, sustainable design.
We want to work with someone creative and driven, who can:
- manage the bid process end-to-end, from identifying opportunity, through to production, design, and submission, as well as post-tender negotiation
- craft persuasive and technically sound proposals that showcase our creative solutions
- develop ‘win’ strategies and value propositions tailored to diverse client requirements and project scopes
- nurture relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners to understand their markets, anticipate their needs (and ASPECT’s) and leverage business opportunities
- quality assurance, to deliver submissions that consistently reflect our commitment to quality, design and innovation
- coordinate, communicate and collaborate to meet deadlines, whilst drawing on our global teams’ skills and expertise
To maximise overlapping time zones with our international collaborators, you’ll work from the London studio. As part of a global team working across studios (and time zones), it is expected that this role will be requested to undertake work outside of core hours. If this is the case, flexibility or time off will be provided.
Required experience:
- advanced InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite will be required
- ideally five plus years of bids and submission experience in landscape architecture, urban design or architecture (construction or engineering are also highly regarded)
- exposure to international markets, ideally across the UK, Europe and the MENA region
- demonstrated project management skillset in project-based organisations
