Atelier Ellis is seeking a studio manager to join its team in London.
The role
Atelier Ellis has an exciting studio manager role to support our beautiful paint brand as it continues to grow.
Working from our new Bermondsey studio, this is a brand new opportunity for a highly organised, proactive, approachable and thoughtful studio manager. Our studio is the beating heart of our business and this role offers an exciting opportunity for a determined and enthusiastic person to build an efficient and effective administrative core to the business.
With a deep interest in interior design, art and society – and experience in a similar studio environment, this role ensures that our business’s workplace, production, fulfilment, logistics and stock management are beautifully and responsibly managed.
Key skills and experience:
- demonstrable studio management experience working within the interiors & arts industries
- excellent organisation skills, high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- experience in event and project organisation
- an emotionally intelligent communicator, keen to help and engage in conversations
- is confident working with stock control management, numbers and margins
- ability to manage workload within a busy environment
- Apple Mac and Microsoft Office proficient
- experience working with Squarespace preferably, or other retail website systems
- a thinking and proactive work ethic
About you:
- you will have a natural instinct for organisation, be highly focused on detail and our visual presence, whilst enjoying being part of a tight-knit team
- an instinctive interest in paint, colour, responsible production and society
- excellent attention to detail and exceptionally organised. A problem solver and self-starter
- personable and enjoy interacting with others, with great written and spoken communication skills
- IT and mathematically adept
- able to lift heavy boxes and tins of paint
- knowledge of the Atelier Ellis brand and ability to retain detailed product information
- is flexible and willing to support the wider team
