Part 2 Akal Talwar describes his time with us, “I decided to take two years out and will continue next year at Bath through their apprentice scheme. I’ve worked on a broad range of projects from a floating Lido, to Neom and travelled to the Maldives. I’ve learned a lot and the mentoring programme here has helped me understand both the business and creative aspects of being an architect. It’s a great practice to begin your career!”

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio (please organise your CV with the strongest work at the front) that must demonstrate outstanding 3D modelling and visualisation skills, work with initiative and be a good all-rounder. Prior knowledge of Vectorworks, Rhino and/or parametric modelling is advantageous.

Future career prospects may be available for a permanent role within the practice upon completion of a three-month probationary period.

Core professional skills required:

  • passionate about the built environment, people and place
  • RIBA accredited qualifications or internationally recognised equivalent
  • experience with V-Ray (or equivalent) with excellent visualisation skills
  • good parametric modelling skills
  • good proficiency with Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc) for preparing presentation material
  • excellent proficiency in written and spoken English
  • outstanding design portfolio
  • good proficiency in the production and management of 2D and 3D CAD drawings (Vectorworks preferable)
