BDP is looking for an interior designer to join its team in Manchester, UK.
We are currently involved in a number of high profile projects in the workplace, retail, healthcare and education sectors.
We are looking for a creative interior designer to join our successful Manchester studio and assist in the growth of our interior design profession.
You will be exposed to the full scope of our award-winning practice; helping to deliver the high standard of comprehensive and integrated building design that has seen BDP become a major interdisciplinary practice of architects, designers and engineers.
You will work closely with the leadership team in Manchester as well as working collaboratively with the interior design team in London and potentially our other studios in the UK and worldwide.
Ultimately we are looking for candidates that aspire to creating great places and are keen to progress their career with a major design practice.
You will have three to five years’ experience working in one or more of the commercial, retail, health and education sectors with some on-site experience and proven design ability and technical skills.
You will have excellent working knowledge of all the necessary software used as part of our work. A knowledge of Revit and InDesign would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary.
We place great value on teamwork and collaboration so you will need to demonstrate a strong team working ethos. You will be able to work effectively with people at all levels, from all backgrounds and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
