BDP is looking for a senior/associate interior designer to join its team in Manchester, UK.
We are currently involved in a number of high profile projects in the
workplace, retail, healthcare and education sectors.
We are looking for an experienced and creative senior interior designer
to join our successful Manchester studio and assist in the growth of our
interior design profession and to ultimately lead the team.
You will be exposed to the full scope of our award-winning practice;
helping to deliver the high standard of comprehensive and integrated
building design that has seen BDP become a major interdisciplinary
practice of architects, designers and engineers.
You will report to the leadership team in Manchester and work in close
liaison with our interior design leadership team in London and potentially
our other studios in the UK and worldwide.
Engaging with, and presenting to blue-chip clients and stakeholders, you
will be and helping drive our direction and winning work.
Ultimately we are looking for candidates that aspire to creating great
places and are keen to progress their career with a major design
You will have exceptional design and leadership skills, and strong
experience gained through c10 or more years of post-degree working in
one or more of the commercial, retail, health and education sectors with
successful design studios.
You will have relevant experience of bidding, pitching and winning work,
briefing and stakeholder liaison, concept design development, technical
package production and implementation through to on-site experience
and post-completion review.
You will have excellent working knowledge of all the necessary software
used as part of our work. A knowledge of Revit and InDesign would be
an advantage but training will be provided if necessary.

to demonstrate a strong team working ethos. You will be able to work
effectively with people at all levels, from all backgrounds and have
excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
