BeforeBricks is looking for Part 2/experienced Part 1 architectural assistants to join its remote team.
BeforeBricks is a fast-growing architectural design and planning company working with clients across the UK. We’re looking for new team members to join us at this exciting stage of our journey and become a key contributor to our mission: to make good architecture accessible to the many.
The ideal candidate will have:
- a professional degree in architecture (RIBA Part 1 or 2 qualification, or equivalent)
- proficiency in AutoCAD or Vectorworks (essential)
- experience producing planning and building regulations drawings
- experience carrying out measured building surveys
- a solid understanding of UK planning and building regulations
- strong communication and coordination skills
- the right to work in the UK
- a keen eye for design and attention to detail
- the ability to work effectively and independently in a remote setting
- a proactive, positive attitude and willingness to grow within a collaborative team
- dedicated, loyal, reliable, punctual, honest, resilient
While we do not currently support Part 3 qualification within the practice, we recognise its importance and are happy to offer general guidance where appropriate. We do not offer study leave or formal mentoring for Part 3, but we encourage ongoing learning and development within the team.

The role is full-time and predominantly remote/home based with occasional site visits, once a week/fortnight.
Type of employment: initial twelve-month contract with a six-month probation period. The salary will be dependent on experience.
