Bere:architects is seeking a senior or project architect to join its team in London.

Bere:architects is looking for an enthusiastic and talented senior or project architect with at least three years post-qualification job-running experience and advanced Revit skills for a uniquely rewarding role in our North London studio. The role will start immediately.

Bere:architects is an award-winning design-focused pioneer of passive house design. For 28 years we have worked with clients who are passionate about design and sustainability. We collaborate with people who wish to produce some of the UK’s most innovative, ultra-high-performance and long-life sustainable homes.

About the role

As a project or senior architect at bere:architects, you will play a pivotal role in the design and execution of our projects, contributing to the creation of inspiring architecture that reflects our commitment to sustainability, innovation and award-winning designs. The successful candidate will love design and above all will want to work on meaningful, legacy projects in a like-minded, caring team.

Responsibilities:

  • leading and contributing to the design process from concept through to completion and aftercare
  • managing and coordinating projects, ensuring efficient project delivery, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
  • working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to foster collaborative relationships
  • incorporating sustainable design principles into your projects, reflecting our commitment to environmentally conscious architecture
  • mentoring junior members of the staff, providing design direction, technical expertise and constructive feedback

Requirements and qualifications:

  • at least three years post-qualification professional experience
  • expert in Revit at all RIBA stages
  • proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Project
  • excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • strong modelling and post-production skills
  • passivhaus experience is desirable but not required
