About Bert Frank

Bert Frank is a British lighting brand defined by bold, timeless design and exceptional craftsmanship. Founded in 2013, we produce every piece in our Birmingham factory – a facility with over 60 years of heritage – where traditional techniques like sand casting meet modern CNC precision. Our lights are designed to last, using solid brass, opal glass, and enduring finishes that offer both luxury and longevity. We partner with leading architects, interior designers and retailers across the world and pride ourselves on quality, design integrity and attentive service.

As the brand continues to grow internationally, we’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and design-aware Operations & Studio Coordinator to support the team, coordinate aftercare, manage studio operations and assist in marketing and events. This is a key support role at the heart of the business.

  • respond to trade and retail enquiries by email and phone
  • prepare and send quotations with accurate pricing and product information
  • liaise with internal teams to ensure timely follow-up on leads and quotes
  • track project timelines and maintain clear records of client communications
  • coordinate after-sales care: organise remedials, replacements and spare parts
  • log and manage client service requests to ensure smooth resolution
  • keep the CRM and client database organised and up to date

Studio and office operations:

  • manage general studio administration and ensure the showroom is tidy and well-stocked
  • monitor and replenish office and kitchen supplies
  • oversee day-to-day maintenance of office equipment and liaise with external service providers
  • organise couriers, post, and ad hoc studio logistics as required
  • maintain our Dropbox structure and ensure product, image and marketing files are properly stored and labelled
  • manage and update content across digital partner platforms (e.g. asset portals, trade profiles)

Marketing and events:

  • order and manage marketing materials, brochures, labelling and sample kits
  • ensure spec sheets, line drawings and other materials are current and available
  • support planning and coordination of trade shows, photoshoots and in-house events
  • prepare client gifts and marketing collateral where needed

Skills and experience:

  • prior experience in a sales support, studio coordinator, or admin role
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • highly organised with a strong attention to detail
  • comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities
  • confident with tools like Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and CRM systems
  • basic understanding of digital file management and marketing assets
  • proactive, approachable, and happy to be the go-to person in a busy design-led team

Benefits:

  • competitive salary depending on experience
  • inspiring working environment in Clerkenwell
  • opportunity to be part of a fast-growing British design brand
  • training and development opportunities
