Bert Frank is hiring a sales support specialist to join its team in London.


Bert Frank is an award-winning British lighting and accessories brand who design, manufacture, and distribute products globally. Our collections are produced exclusively at our UK factory, using precious materials such as solid brass, Italian marble, and Spanish alabaster. We launch and exhibit new collections twice a year at domestic and international trade events. Our products are resold in over 30 countries across 5 continents and can be seen in a variety of residential, commercial and contract projects around the world.


The sales support specialist is the backbone of the Bert Frank commercial operation.

Within a small and driven team, you will play an important part in the brands development and growth whilst also being subject to countless opportunities to learn new skills and adopt new responsibilities.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are not afraid of a challenge, love to succeed and bring a positivity about themselves and their work.

The position is full-time permanent and available for immediate start, with working days of Monday-Friday only, between 09:00-17:30 (until 17:00 on Fridays). Based permanently in London (EC1M 3JB) with remote working when required. The role reports into the Head of Sales and operates alongside the full London team as well as some Birmingham-based colleagues.


Daily, weekly and monthly tasks that include (but are not limited to):

  • driving client retention by consistently providing exemplary service levels, relationship building, passionate brand representation and going above-and-beyond wherever possible
  • raising and distributing accurate quotations, sales orders, invoices, purchase orders and goods-out notes
  • managing day-to-day distributor processes
  • updating and maintaining accurate client records
  • providing high service levels to our clientele by phone, email and in person
  • supporting with new-starter inductions
  • highlighting any broken processes that can affect the client experience or operation and make suggestions for improvement
  • ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and policies in the workplace and when working off-site


  • experience in the lighting, furniture, or premium goods industries
  • analytical and problem-solving skills
  • able to work within a small team and solo
  • right to work in the UK and able to commute comfortably to Central London on weekdays
  • native or professional spoken and written English language and grammar (additional languages desired but not required)
  • competency with using Apple or Windows products, Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems (we use Brightpearl as our primary business tool)
