BIG is looking for an architect/designer to join its team in London, UK.

We are currently looking for experienced and talented architects/designers to join our London office where, together with over 170 other BIGsters, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects of varying scale and typology in the UK and Middle East. You will work closely with a vibrant, multidisciplinary team of architectural, urban design and landscape professionals.

Join us on our mission if you are an architect/designer who has:

• strong conceptual, design and graphic skills
• experience with technical detailing, construction documentation and construction administration
• ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking
• exposure to management and coordination of project stakeholders, local authorities and approving bodies, and sub-consultants
• ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team
• ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project
• strong organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• the ability to be proactive, self-motivated and able to take initiative in response to direction from managers
• great interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach to working with teammates
• a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working

Required skills and experience:

• three to seven years’ post-qualification experience as an architect/designer
• over three years of professional work experience using Revit as your core BIM tool
• proficiency with Rhino and Adobe Suite is required; V-Ray and/or Enscape is a plus
• excellent communication skills and fluency in English – spoken and written
• experience with masterplan projects is a plus
