Junior interior designer

BOMA is seeking a junior interior designer to join its staff in London.
BOMA is a fast-growing luxury interior design and project management company that was founded in 2022. BOMA delivers its customers a seamless experience, coordinating their projects end-to-end, and overseeing elements including spatial planning and design, interior architecture, interior design, technical design, and creating detailed tender specifications.
We are seeking a talented junior interior designer to join our growing team based in London. The ideal candidate will have at least one year experience in high-end residential interior design, and be excited by the prospect of being an early joiner. We’re looking for someone who will bring a genuine passion for interior design and is willing to muck in as part of a small team.
About you:
- a professional degree in interior design or equivalent qualification
- minimum one year’ experience
- experience utilising CAD software for floor plans, elevation drawings and rendering
- a good knowledge of finishes and FF&E specification who is excited to continually source new and interesting products
- adaptable and enthusiastic about joining a dynamic, fast-growing company as one of its first hires
- excellent presentation skills, both verbally, written and graphically, as illustrated by an aesthetic CV and portfolio
- bonus, but not required: experience with Fohlio, Vectorworks and Microsoft 365 and excellent sketching and hand-drawing skills
Typical responsibilities:
- source furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) items during design stages and collate information on Fohlio to assist with detailed project specifications
- put together mood boards and illustration boards
- assist with conceptual designs and presentations
- assist with the preparation for and execution of client briefing meetings
- management of materials library and collation of new fabric and material collections
Salary: £21,000
This is a full-time position. All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.
