Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication or a related field
  • four to five years of professional experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in place branding, placemaking and branded environments
  • proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and
    familiarity with web design tools
  • ability to create compelling narratives and storytelling through design that captures the essence and experience of a place
  • excellent attention to detail, with a solid understanding of design
    principles, typography, colour theory and layout composition
  • strong verbal and visual communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
  • proven project management abilities, including multitasking, time
    management and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • self-motivated, proactive and adaptable mindset, with a passion
    for pushing creative boundaries and delivering exceptional design work

Responsibilities:

  • collaborate with the team to understand project goals and design concepts
  • create visually stunning designs across various mediums
  • develop engaging narratives and visual stories for projects
  • design project collateral and in-house brand collateral
  • utilise motion graphics and animation techniques
  • manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality designs
  • contribute creative insights to  shape place branding initiatives
