BTL Property is looking for a senior interior designer/interior architect to join its team in London.

BTL Property has an opportunity, for an immediate start, for a talented and highly motivated senior interior designer/interior architect to join its team in Wimbledon. You will be required to implement design direction from lead designers in order to quote, win, design and manage residential/luxury residential end user projects. Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.


  • all round experience of the design process
  • design projects in collaboration with senior designers
  • leading multiple projects from conception to completion
  • to be comfortable managing a small team of designers and working in a team environment
  • provide oversite on all drawing packages/schedules throughout the RIBA staged process
  • providing effective and ‘buildable’ solutions for client sign off
  • AutoCAD experience a must
  • maintain the high quality of drawings within the design department
  • create customised joinery construction drawings in AutoCAD
  • provide Photoshop and 3D representations of client schemes when required
  • site experience and liaising with the main contractor managers is a must
  • report on the status of the projects at weekly intervals and ensuring all project management reports & spreadsheets are up to date
  • deliver design projects on time and on budget
  • comfortable in a fast paced and energetic environment

Essential skill requirements:

  • minimum five years’ experience working in the UK domestic refurbishment sector
  • strong technical drawing skills in AutoCAD
  • full EU driving license and comfortable driving around London – you will be required to drive most days
  • InDesign and Photoshop
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • fluent in written and spoken English
  • all legal permits and visas required to work in the UK
