Celine Interior Design is seeking a mid-weight interior designer to join its team in London, UK.

Role overview

As a mid-weight interior designer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of projects from concept to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your creativity, technical skills and project management expertise to a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

• work closely with the senior design team to develop and execute creative design concepts
• prepare mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations to present ideas to clients
• produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction and fit-out phases
• source and specify materials, furniture, fixtures, and fittings in line with project requirements
• coordinate with contractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery
• coordinate multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
• attend site visits, client meetings, and presentations as required
• stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies

Skills and qualifications:

• a degree or equivalent qualification in interior design, interior architecture or related field
• three to five years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a design studio
• proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Revit (preferred)
• ample of residential or hospitality experience preferred
• strong hand-sketching and visualisation skills
• estimac skills for FF&E
• excellent understanding of space planning, materials, and detailing
• strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise
• excellent communication and presentation skills
• a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical ability and experience in delivering projects
