Chris Dyson Architects is seeking a talented and experienced project architect to join its friendly team in East London. This is an opportunity to contribute to a number of innovative current projects, particularly in high-end residential, hotel and hospitality sectors.

There are two primary strands to the practice: the first is applying skills in intelligent conservation and sensitive building design, and the second is creative new cultural and commercial commissions. Key responsibilities:
- lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with Chris Dyson Architect’s design philosophy and high standards
- liaise directly with clients and contractors, with regular reporting to the existing leadership team
- oversee and coordinate detailed construction drawings, schedules, and specifications
- demonstrate strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations with an emphasis on sustainability
- collaborate closely with interior and landscape design teams to ensure cohesive project delivery
- review and approve shop drawings and technical documentation to maintain design intent
- coordinate site visits to oversee the construction process and ensure quality standards.
Requirements:
- strong design and technical ability with a solid knowledge of building construction
- onfident, with a level of autonomy and time management
- RIBA parts 1, 2 and 3 completed and registered ARB architect in the UK is essential
- a minimum of three years of post-Part 3 experience working on and delivering private residential, hotel or hospitality projects
- advanced proficiency in 2D drafting software, in particular Microstation and SketchUp, Adobe Suite. Revit not essential but a bonus
- strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work in a client-facing role
- a robust portfolio showcasing innovative and impactful architectural projects
- eligible to work in the UK
