Clover Studio is offering an opportunity for an experienced Architect to join its team in London, UK.
This role involves contributing to the design and delivery of a unique large international mixed-use project in the Middle East. The project includes diverse parkland, a museum, event spaces, co-working areas, retail, hospitality and indoor sports facilities.
The project is envisioned as a transformative incubator for young talent, empowering small businesses, designers and artists through innovative indoor and outdoor landscaped spaces. It incorporates computational design and advanced passive environmental strategies.
The successful candidate will join the studio at an exciting time of growth, with opportunities to contribute significantly to the practice’s creativity, future direction, and development.
We offer both PAYE and consultancy-based engagements, full-time and in-person at our East London office with an anticipated start date at the end of February or early March.
Key responsibilities
- support team coordination with internal teams and external consultants
- manage other Architectural Designers within sub teams
- contribute to the production of high-quality presentation material and drawings
- contribute to the creative and technical development of the project
Required skills and experience
- strong communication and organisational skills
- ability to manage architectural designers
- ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in larger teams
- experience working on medium to large complex design projects
- proven ability to deliver high-quality Stage 3-4 drawings
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite and rendering tools
- strong design and technical skills in both 2D and 3D
- flexibility and a proactive approach to teamwork
- understanding of sustainable design principles
- experience with concept design and high quality graphical documentation
Preferred attributes
- knowledge of Enscape rendering software
- experience working on international projects with different building codes and standards
- knowledge of parametric design tools and methodologies is advantageous
- enthusiasm for innovative materials and sustainable construction techniques
