Sales showroom coordinator

Coco Wolf is seeking a sales showroom coordinator to join its team in Chelsea, London.

Coco Wolf and Barton Bespoke are revolutionising the way we live inside and out. Created in 2014 by native New Zealanders James and Rebecca Lorimer, Coco Wolf is a design-led, ethical and sustainable brand that aims to bring timeless, distinctive design to indulgent outdoor spaces through expert craftsmanship and uncompromising quality. Our own manufacturing facility, Barton Bespoke, is located in Long Eaton, here in the UK.

The sales and showroom coordinator will assist the sales and showroom manager in the day-to-day running of the showroom to ensure that the space is visually merchandised to an excellent standard, as well as supporting on the administrative aspect of sales.

The key responsibilities of the sales and showroom coordinator

Client facing:

  • ensure the highest level of customer service is extended to all customers whether it is in person, on the phone or via email
  • general meet and greet of walk-in clients, confidently introducing the brand and product before assisting the sales and showroom manager and/or creative director with consultations, sample picking and pricing
  • answer the phone and emails in a professional manner
  • issue new client quotes and invoices and proactively follow up

After-sales and logistics coordination:

  • oversee the after-sales process to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, addressing any queries or concerns with promptness and efficiency
  • liaise with the factory regularly to monitor the status of orders, ensuring they are on track and communicating any delays or issues to customers proactively
  • coordinate with logistics to organise timely deliveries, ensuring a seamless process from order to delivery
  • manage fabric orders and other materials, working closely with suppliers to ensure quality and timelines meet the company standards

Showroom duties:

  • maintain the showroom’s high standard of presentation and efficiency
  • ensure sample displays are replenished and presentable
  • assisting sales and showroom manager with display and layout of showroom and visuals are kept on par
  • prepare the showroom for client meetings and support sales and showroom manager and/or head of marketing for any showroom events
  • general office housekeeping such as ordering office supplies
  • key holder responsibilities

Administrative duties:

  • day-to-day shared management of the enquiries inbox
  • build strong relationships with C Suite, team members who work remotely and factory team
  • assist the wider team with day-to-day tasks – no day is the same
  • liaising with remote team members to dispatch samples
  • miscellaneous  administrative tasks when required
  • to assist the sales and showroom manager in ensuring that sales targets are exceeded with a strong understanding of the sales plan for the year ahead

The successful sales and showroom coordinator will be:

  • strong team player who is familiar with working in a small team and a high-paced environment with the ability to multitask and work independently
  • fluent in English both written and verbal
  • wanting to pursue a career in interiors and sales
  • have a keen interest in interiors, design and have an eye for colour, textiles and mood-boarding
  • highly organised and conscientious, flexible, and willing to work after hours and on weekends when necessary
  • ambitious and passionate about achieving results
  • meticulous attention to detail, both operational and customer-focused
  • well-presented and articulate, always demonstrating respect and politeness
  • proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel as well as sales platforms such as Pipedrive
