Marketing and communications coordinator

Conran and Partners is looking for a marketing and communications coordinator to join its London studio.

This an ideal opportunity for a versatile team player with a creative nature who demonstrates high-level proficiency in graphic design as well as good writing and editing skills to deliver compelling content to create winning bids and digital content. Within this role, you will work closely with our marketing and communications associate to support the delivery of initiatives across both our London and Hong Kong studios and create content for social media platforms, aiding in the execution of press strategies, and preparing and submitting award entries for consideration. This opportunity offers the potential for individuals to assume ownership of tasks, grow within the position, and gain comprehensive knowledge of this world-renowned practice.

Founded by British design icon Sir Terence Conran, the practice has a contemporary vision that transforms bold ideas into truly inspiring buildings and interiors. It will be a dynamic and diverse role which requires an appreciation of design at all scales and across all sectors.

This is a full-time role based in our studio in the heart of Clerkenwell reporting to the marketing and communications associate. You will also integrate closely with our design teams and related consultants.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • support the marketing and communications associate on the implementation of the marketing strategy, reporting and initiatives from digital marketing to events and new business
  • help with internal communications and assist in developing press campaigns
  • develop and manage submissions presentations, bid documents and other new business support
  • create compelling promotional material, presentations and digital content, including generating ideas and editing still and moving content for use across social platforms
  • coordinate the calendar of awards submissions, photography, client events, industry event attendance and speaking opportunities
  • copywriting for digital content and digital platforms

Essential skills and requirements:

  • one to two years of demonstrable experience and success in a similar role within the creative industries
  • track record of conceptualising and seeing through social media and marketing campaigns across different platforms
  • creative nature with excellent graphic skills and an eye for composition with good attention to detail
  • detailed knowledge and working proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders
  • knowledgeable in social media platforms and management tools such as Hootsuite and Google Analytics
  • capable of multitasking, handling a broad range of responsibilities and working to tight deadlines

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, have a keen interest in both architecture and interior design and be willing to take initiative.

This is a full-time position. All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.
