We specialise in creating customised and high-quality joinery solutions, including kitchens, wardrobes, bars and vanities. We focus on delivering a seamless and impeccable finish built to last. Cor Domi has an outstanding pipeline with huge potential for growth, and we are looking for an exceptional candidate who is self-motivated and enjoys being part of a team. This is a full-time position with the applicant working remotely from home, on sites and from the studio’s office in Parsons Green. Applicants should be London-based within a reasonable commute.
Role description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a junior designer. As a junior designer at Cor Domi, your day-to-day tasks will involve designing and drafting joinery pieces, creating 3D models and visualisations, selecting materials and finishes, and collaborating with the design team to bring client visions to reality. This role is located in London, with flexibility for some remote work. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, eager and passionate about design and proficient in working with SketchUp and SketchUp Layout.
Qualifications:
- proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- ability to create accurate technical drawings and 3D models
- knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, and construction techniques
- strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- excellent communication and collaboration skills
- ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture or a related field
- prior experience in joinery or furniture design is a plus
- excellent spoken and written English
- technical understanding of kitchen and furniture design
- ability to work quickly and efficiently to create room concepts
- work well as part of a team and independently when required
- confidently liaise with the team, suppliers and clients
- prioritise work and demands across multiple projects
