Design International is seeking a junior architectural designer to join its team in London.
Location: central London – modern designer offices or Milan
Salary: £21k to £35k per annum

About the role of junior architectural designer
This is the perfect role for you if you have an interest in in parametric/computational design. You will work on a variety of projects across multiple stages, sectors, and countries. The parametric/computational design skills will be used to develop anything from masterplans to detailed facades design. Be ready to be amazed by the projects you will work on!
Additional aspects of the role include working alongside the office BIM and technology staff to deliver coordinated solutions and contributing to research for new technologies and innovations in the industry.

What do you need to be successful in this role?
Visualisation of design intent is a core component of the role as part of our collaborative design development process. Visual communication of design principles and ideas is key, and you should be comfortable with sketching, making diagrams and explanatory drawings.
Other skills that you need to possess are:
- a proactive working attitude
- strong Rhinoceros and Grasshopper knowledge
- Dynamo knowledge is a plus
- Revit knowledge, including Rhino/Revit interoperability
- Python or other programming language is a plus
- experience in high-end 3D visualisation is plus (Lumion/Enscape preferred)
- proficient in the use of presentation/productivity software (Adobe/Affinity suite, Office suite)
- full written and spoken English (Italian is a plus)
- architecture degree or similar
