Senior architect

Design International is seeking a senior architect to join its team in London.
Central London office.
Salary range: £38,000 to £52,000 depending on experience.
Hybrid role worked over a 4.5 day working week (1.00pm Friday finish).

We are Design International, an award-winning practice renowned for our truly innovative designs in over 40 countries, brought to life in the creation of retail, leisure, hospitality and office breathing spaces that bring and bond people together.
This role joins an architectural team who support and provide direction to our Project and Design teams throughout the design to delivery cycle of projects across 45 countries. It’s a key appointment to help ensure the continued successful delivery of our projects in a timely and cost-effective manner as we continue to grow and build on our own 60-year history.
In particular you will:
- organise tasks and manage processes to keep us on track with overall project objectives
- provide updates on progress, timings and budgets, contributing to the further planning of our resources
- liaise with consultants, clients and our wider team through structured meetings and ad-hoc requests
- travel to other offices, project sites and client locations, as required
We’re looking for a RIBA or equivalent qualified professional with at least five years’ relevant industry and sectors experience, who is proficient in Revit or similar design applications. You’ll bring a comprehensive understanding of architectural processes across RIBA Stages 1 to 7, UK building regulations, including work on heritage and listed buildings.
You’ll need to be a natural team player and motivator; skilled and confident in harnessing individual skills into a cross-cultural team effort that’s greater than the sum of its parts. A natural communicator – in all its forms – you’ll adapt to your audience and the demands of the tasks in hand, ensuring you maintain and enhance our high standards of delivery coupled with a focus on continuous improvement.
