Senior architectural technologist/architect
Design Squared Architects is a small, close-knit architecture studio based in South-East London, working primarily on private residential projects. Established in 2007, the practice has successfully completed over nine hundred building projects and has developed an extensive portfolio.
The new team member will be responsible for running multiple projects, throughout the whole design journey and on site.
Your roles will include, but not be limited to:
- supporting clients through concept, design development and into planning
- producing construction drawings and tender packages
- liaising with other industry consultants
- onsite technical detailing/support
- specifications
- liaising with contractors
- client communication and project running
Desired skills and experience:
- a minimum of three to five years professional experience on residential projects
- excellent knowledge with broad experience in the design and construction of small-scale residential buildings. The post holder must have working knowledge of current legislation and practices
- a self-motivated, rational thinker, with good motivational skills and ability to communicate with all disciplines at all levels
- well organised with the ability to work to deadlines, under pressure and on own initiative
- demonstrable experience and knowledge of industry CAD platforms with particular emphasis on Microstation and AutoCAD. Additional training will be provided
- a good working knowledge of building construction, expressed through drawn/written documents
- ability to maintain competence in areas relevant to the work undertaken by the company
- evidence of continuing professional development and an ongoing commitment to undertake training and studies to meet the demands of both current and future legislation

Salary based on experience – £35,000-£50,000
