Design Team is hiring an architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Location: South London, SW9
We are currently looking for a bright and committed experienced Part 1/2 qualified architectural assistant to join our expanding team in Clapham. You must be confident in using AutoCAD to apply for the role.

We are an architectural design firm based in Clapham, SW9. We offer a fresh and straightforward approach to architecture and offer a range of fixed fee design packages for clients looking to undertake a kitchen extension, basement or loft conversion. We have completed in excess of 600 projects, and have an unrivalled success rate at gaining planning permission for extensions and loft conversions across London. We have a sister company, Build Team, who offer a construction service.
The role
The role will be working with the architectural design team in technical delivery on a variety of projects.
Key responsibilities:
- working with the architectural team on producing drawings in AutoCAD
- working on Building Regulation Drawings
- assisting with our Ancillary Services, Party Wall, CCTV Drainage Feasibility, Build Over Agreements
Requirements:
- graduate in architecture (Part 1 or 2) or equivalent able to use AutoCAD
- excellent English both oral and written
- friendly and personable
- able to work well as part of a team
- knowledge of UK building regulations and basic knowledge of planning policies would also be advantageous
- must be eligible to work in the UK

Salary of £25,000 to £33,000 per annum and potential for a performance bonus, plus 20 days holiday entitlement. Salary will depend on experience.
