Dezeen is looking for an awards coordinator to join its team in London.
Dezeen, the world’s most popular architecture and design magazine, is looking to build an exceptional team of talented individuals to launch this exciting new venture.
You will need great interpersonal and communication skills and be meticulously organised and proactive. Applicants must demonstrate a keen interest in architecture, interiors and design and a desire to develop their career within a dynamic international business.
You will be familiar with office technologies including content management systems, project management software, spreadsheets and databases.
Your responsibilities will include:
- liaising with national and international architects and designers
- researching potential entries
- helping to hit sales targets
- collating and uploading award submissions
- managing data
- preparing marketing material including newsletters and banners
The successful candidate will be an all-rounder with an understanding of online media and digital marketing. We’re looking for an innovative problem-solver who is highly adaptable and positive.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to work confidently and reliably with a capacity to multi-task. Excellent written and spoken English is essential; a foreign language would be advantageous but is not essential.
In addition marketing, copywriting and image editing (Photoshop) experience would be very useful.
