Dezeen is offering two paid internships for three months on its Dezeen Awards team in London.
Created by Dezeen, the world’s most influential architecture and design media brand, Dezeen Awards is a prestigious international awards program that celebrates the best in architecture, interiors and design.
We are looking for outstanding individuals to support our awards and events team and contribute to the growth of Dezeen Awards as it enters its eighth year.
Reporting to the awards and events manager, your main duties will include:
- researching and recording potential projects and studios for entry into Dezeen Awards
- driving awards entries and entries revenue growth across all markets
- reporting on leads, entires and revenue figures
- responding to awards inquiries
- assisting with general admin duties, including preparing and issuing invoices and following up on payments
- producing marketing and promotional materials for use across display banners, editorial and social channels
- assisting with the organisation and execution of live events
This role will provide a strong foundation in sales, marketing and event management, offering valuable insights into the workings of a high-profile, international awards program while excelling in a fast-paced environment.
We’re seeking two highly organised, meticulous and results-driven individuals.
The roles would suit recent graduates in the arts, as well as individuals from other disciplines who are proficient at data and quantitative analysis looking to develop their interest in the architecture and design industry.
Candidates must be skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and have a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly Excel or Google Sheets. Knowledge of Apple Keynote is desirable. English fluency is essential.
Applicants must be available to start in January 2025 and be able to work full-time for three months. The positions are based at Dezeen’s office in Hoxton, London, UK, with flexible and remote working opportunities.
