Junior curator
at Double Decker
Double Decker is looking for a junior curator to join its lively studio in London.
Here’s a fantastic opportunity to support our creative team in curating artwork collections for International luxury hotels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- assisting in researching, managing, and communicating with different artists
- interpreting and organising plans and elevations from our prestigious clients to ensure seamless project execution
- supporting the team in space planning for the installation of our exquisite art collections
- documenting artwork meticulously to preserve crucial information related to all contemporary artwork
- assisting in creating briefs, technical drawings, and specifications for artwork production
- crafting compelling presentations for our global clients
- staying updated on trends and interior styles and being informed about hospitality brands
- supporting in handling budgets
Skills and qualifications we are looking for:
- a degree or equivalent in curating, interior, spatial, branded environment design, architecture or industrial design
- understanding Double Decker’s house style and aesthetics
- efficient workload management across multiple accounts
- familiarity with plans and elevations, proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
- proficiency in MS Word and Excel, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- excellent and positive communication skills
- a keen eye for detail
- a Valid UK work visa (applicants without a valid UK work visa will not be considered for this role)
