dRMM are radical makers of sustainable, socially useful architecture with studios in London and Berlin. Our thriving Stirling Prize-winning studio works on exciting, innovative projects across all scales and sectors in the UK, Germany and overseas. Current projects range from a floating swimming pool on a repurposed barge to pioneering community-led housing estate renewal, a CLT primary school to a large scale infrastructure project, and an ingenius new model for industrial estates to cutting edge research into the benefits of building in timber. We are in the process of becoming B- Corp certified.

We are looking for motivated and talented Architects to join our team in London to work on a variety of projects. You will support project leads to run projects from concept design through to completion and oversee project coordination while leading junior team members in day-to-day activities. A high level of design competency is required and you will have sound knowledge of UK planning and building regulations. Responsibilities will include coordinating design team actions; attending design team meetings; liaising with stakeholders; and developing architectural solutions from concept to technical design and construction stages.
You will have excellent English communication skills, be well organised and have a proven track record of working both independently and as part of a team. You will show great flexibility and versatility to work on various project types, at various stages and scales. You will demonstrate good ability to learn from your peers as well as independently. Knowledge of the German language is advantageous.
Good knowledge of Revit and Adobe Creative Suite is a minimum requirement; knowledge of Rhino, SketchUp, Vectorworks/AutoCAD and rendering software is advantageous.
We have a very sociable and relaxed studio atmosphere, and our architects play a full and active role within it, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility within projects and for extracurricular events and activities.
Salary band 5 (£34k to £42.2k) dependent on experience and compliance with dRMM salary banding, which is annually benchmarked to ensure team members are paid fairly.
Working pattern: this position is envisioned as a full-time role. We offer up to two days of home working per week, with core working hours to allow flexible start and finish times.
