Drøme Architects is seeking an architect or talented Part 2 to join its team in Liverpool, UK.

We are expanding our practice in summer 2024 and are looking for a talented architect with residential experience to join our practice on a full-time basis. You will be designing and delivering a mixture of bespoke projects across the RIBA work stages.

Salary as per RIBA salary guide, negotiated dependant upon relevant experience and skills. Some practices have a prescriptive list of skills or experiences as mandatory requirements, we are not like that. If you are not capable of transferring skills, or learning new programmes, then you would not have lasted this long in architecture.

An ideal candidate would have:

• a fine hand: able to think and draw in 2D and 3D, be that freehand, measured drawing, Vectorworks, SketchUp or other. Feel free to show us what you can do and how you do it
• presentation skills: we use photography, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, lectures and model making to communicate our ideas; it would be fantastic to find someone with a good graphic eye, illustrative aesthetic and confident speaker that improves the way we show the world what we do
• the means to get to various ad run projects on site, having the confidence to chair meetings. If you don’t have that experience currently you will learn with us
• the ability to not always agree, and to know how to disagree. Good design comes through debate, challenge and dialogue
• the grit to work hard and play hard, enjoy good food and be engaging company
• the experience and or enthusiasm for conceptual and detail design in architecture. At Drøme you take a project from start to finish.
