3DCP architect needed as the first hire for an automated construction startup.

You will undoubtedly need a postgraduate level of architectural expertise in this specific field and more than a passing interest in art and design. Ideally, you’ve also got a portfolio of select built projects using some form of automated processes.

The successful candidate will not only contribute to groundbreaking projects but also have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role, eventually shaping the technological direction of the company as the CTO.
Skills and expertise:
- onsite 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP) and pre-fabrication: The right candidate will have in-depth knowledge, hands-on experience in 3DCP and pre-fabrication technologies, demonstrating a track record of successful projects and familiarity with the latest advancements and trends in concrete printing
- BIM (building information modelling): Proficiency in BIM tools for comprehensive project visualisation and coordination
- parametric design: expertise in parametric design tools like Rhino and Grasshopper, enabling innovative and efficient designs
- rendering and visualisation: Proficient in rendering tools such as V-Ray for creating visually stunning representations of architectural designs
- project management: Strong project management skills to oversee the entire life cycle of 3DCP projects from conception to completion
