Elicyon is hiring a sales and market growth director to join its team in London.
Elicyon is a prestigious luxury interior design and architecture studio, known for delivering bespoke, globally recognised spaces.
Elicyon has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, expanding by 83.7 per cent since 2020. Over the past five years, the company has maintained a strong and steady trajectory, with an average annual growth rate of 12.9 per cent.
As we enter our next phase of strategic growth, we are seeking a commercially confident and strategically minded sales and market growth director to lead all new business generation and expansion into hospitality, branded residences, and luxury development projects across the UK and internationally.
This is a senior leadership position with clear accountability: to originate and close new business opportunities beyond our existing client portfolio, diversify our market reach, and deliver a minimum of £1M in secured income within the first year. You’ll work closely with the Founder Director and Finance Director to shape Elicyon’s commercial trajectory and open doors into new private client, commercial, and hospitality markets.
What success looks like in year one:
- £1M in secured income from new clients
- a qualified and consistently managed commercial pipeline
- new market sectors activated (e.g. hospitality, branded residences, boutique developments)
- clear reporting cadence to leadership on KPIs and opportunity forecasting
- sales strategy aligned with Elicyon’s brand, creative process, and client experience
Key responsibilities
Sales strategy and growth:
- design and execute a targeted new business strategy that drives revenue beyond current referral channel
- identify market segments and geographies for growth in alignment with Elicyon’s five-year plan
- work directly with the founder and finance director to set realistic, stretch targets and refine strategy over time
Pipeline and CRM ownership:
- take full ownership of the sales pipeline, from origination to conversion
- leverage HubSpot (CRM) to track lead progression, performance, and forecasting
- use reporting data to improve conversion and pipeline velocity
- ensure all sales activity is visible, measurable and reportable
Client acquisition and business development:
- source, engage, and convert high-value prospects, particularly in new sectors such as hospitality and branded residences
- represent Elicyon confidently in client pitches, external meetings, and high-level networking
- cultivate a strong pipeline through direct outreach, partnerships, and strategic relationship-building
Commercial intelligence and opportunity evaluation:
- evaluate new opportunities based on revenue potential, client fit, and operational feasibility
- use commercial insight and competitor analysis to advise leadership on where and how to scale
- balance short-term wins with long-term client lifetime value
Collaboration and brand alignment:
- partner with the client relationship director to ensure smooth client transitions and consistent communication
- collaborate with design and project teams to align messaging, value proposition, and delivery promises
- serve as a visible commercial ambassador of the brand internally and externally
Key experience and skills:
- proven experience in a senior sales, business development or commercial leadership role
- background in luxury interior design, architecture, real estate, hospitality or high-end services
- strong track record of independently closing new business valued at £500k+
- CRM confident — ideally HubSpot — and able to drive data-led pipeline management
- high EQ with the ability to navigate client nuances, stakeholder dynamics, and brand tone
- strategic thinker who enjoys opening markets, building relationships, and driving measurable results
Qualifications:
- minimum five years’ in a senior sales or commercial development role
- demonstrated experience achieving £1M+ targets in a consultative sales environment
- familiarity with reporting, forecasting, and commercial due diligence
- proficiency with CRM tools and digital sales reporting
