Emma Scully Gallery is hiring a gallery associate to join its team in New York.
Emma Scully Gallery promotes contemporary design through conceptual programming. We commission, collect and curate design work that is experimental and research-oriented; advocating for an academic framing in a commercial context.
We are located at 16 East 79th Street New York, New York.
Emma Scully Gallery is looking for a gallery assistant, hours are in person at 16 East 79th Street Tuesday – Saturday 10-6. Will be required to stay past 6pm to assist with openings and special gallery events. Role will be assisting with clients and visitors to the gallery as well as management of ecommerce sales and platforms – Artsy, 1stdibs, etc. – the gallery sells through. Periodic instagram assistance and management.
Applicants should be comfortable with inside sales and sales duties. Will assist principle on an as needed basis with sales communication as well as communication facilitating logistics. Applicant should be detail oriented, hardworking, and reliable. Adobe suite fluency required.
Salary will be commensurate with experience, two years’ minimum work experience.
