Fathom Architects is looking for a studio coordinator to join its team in London, UK.

£30,000 to £35,000 pa full time equivalent
Fathom Architects is looking for a studio coordinator to support our friendly team in London Bridge.
If you are proactive, super organised and personable you could be a great fit. Reporting to our practice manager Jo, your tasks would cover the non-architectural aspects of the studio including: Premises, Finances, HR, Learning, IT and Design Management.
This is a part-time role, starting at 3 days a week, but has potential to expand as our practice grows. It’s a wonderful opportunity to evolve alongside us!

What you’ll be doing:
Premises
- work closely with our Practice Manager to keep the studio running seamlessly
- handle reception duties, including answering calls, greeting visitors and offering refreshments
- ensure the studio remains well-stocked and presentable
- manage office supply orders
- assist in maintaining and expanding our materials library
HR / Learning
- organise company-wide meetings and appraisals, keeping calendar invites accurate and up-to-date
- take the lead in planning in-house CPD (Continuing Professional Development) sessions and team social events
- support the practice manager with tasks such as arranging travel and office trips
- help maintain records for timesheets, TOIL (time off in lieu), sick leave and holiday requests
- assist in the recruitment process, from handling applications to supporting candidate selection
- oversee new hire induction
- help co-ordinate Fathom’s volunteering initiatives
Design management
- support design management by organising QA, technical, and design review meetings
- assist with keeping our project management software ( CMAP) updated
- assist with proof reading documentation
IT
- coordinate with our IT consultant to ensure technology runs smoothly and efficiently
What we’re looking for:
- a warm, outgoing personality with great communication skills
- a solid knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (bonus points if you’re familiar with CMAP, InDesign or Photoshop)
- strong English skills, both written and spoken
- someone who’s naturally organised, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- a self-starter who takes ownership of their work
- a professional and personable individual who will be a great ambassador for our studio with clients and colleagues alike
