Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios is hiring a BID coordinator to join its team in Bath or Manchester, UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for a BID coordinator to join our award-winning architectural practice in our Bath studio or Manchester office.

The Bid coordinator is an important role within the existing communications team and will be working closely with the bid manager to produce and assemble submissions and track their process. They will assist in reviewing tender requirements and liaise with the bid manager, and the senior leadership team to collate the required information and submit bids of the highest standard.

This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week. We offer the opportunity of hybrid working once you have settled into the role.

Role and responsibilities:

  • search for and record new work opportunities in UK and worldwide in line with company and business plan criteria
  • arrange and chair bid preparation meetings
  • compile and coordinate all submissions including graphic layout and print production of all materials
  • document layout and presentation production for interview presentations
  • manage the bid library updating generic information and bid data
  • apply due diligence throughout the full bid process
  • perform multiple submissions against rapid and frequent deadlines
  • develop new materials as needed to support business development activities
  • collate and record feedback on all bids – successful/unsuccessful for an interrogation
  • initiate continual improvements to the bid process and procedures

Skills and experience:

  • demonstrable previous experience within a similar role along with excellent DTP Skills including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and/or Affinity Publisher, Photo and Designer
  • strong graphic skills, along with excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to work independently and on your own initiative
  • excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
