Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios is seeking a project architect to join its team in London.

We are seeking a talented project architect with site delivery experience to join our thriving London studio. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in a technical design delivery role within the construction sector.

This is a part-time position of 30 hours per week across four days. We offer the opportunity of hybrid working once you have settled into the role.

Role and responsibilities:

  • oversee the day-to-day management of a large student residential project on site
  • interface and maintain relationships with the Main Contractor, Subcontractor and consultant team
  • conduct site visits to review progress and inspect benchmarks, producing associated site observation reports
  • review consultant and subcontractor technical submittals, drawings and schedules for various packages
  • update technical drawing packages (Revit) and specifications as required
  • respond to RFIs and technical queries as required
  • provide support to Project Partner / Associate in compiling Change Control forms and other contractual documents
  • manage Revit models and participate in clash detection and resolution with consultant and subcontractor team

Skills and experience:

  • ARB registered architect with 8 years post Part 3 experience
  • proven experience of site delivery and handover RIBA stages 4 to 6
  • strong knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and sustainable design principles
  • exceptional design, interpersonal and organisational skills, with an eye for sustainable innovation and quality
  • ability to read and write technical specifications to a high standard
  • capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent communication skills
  • in-depth understanding of design management, contract administration and risk management in architectural projects
  • proficient in Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite
